The view of a program management office (PMO) has different meanings for different organizations throughout government and industry. What does the PMO look like? What functions are to be assigned to the PMO? How does the PMO fit into the organization? How will the organization respond to establishing a PMO? This presentation will help participants ask the questions that will enable them to effectively establish a PMO.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
(1) describe the elements that go into standing up a PMO;
(2) identify specific questions that should be asked of an organization looking to stand up a PMO.
