#522 Be a Winning Project Manager: What the Ironman Triathlon Taught Me About Project Leadership

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Finishing an Ironman triathlon and successful project management actually have a lot in common. Both require planning, practice, and dedication to develop and use specific skills in a dynamic environment.  The ability to anticipate, understand, and overcome challenges enables a triathlete to finish the race, and also makes a project manager successful, completing a project on schedule and within budget.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
(1) describe five aspects of project leadership that can improve their performance and opportunities for project success;
(2) discuss how to learn from challenges rather than being defeated by them in a quest to become a better project manager.
