PMI Global Conference 2018

Our experience shows a positive correlation between higher change management capabilities, organizational project management maturity, and the execution ability of projects/programs leading to superior business performance. The presentation will highlight the role of change management in enabling organizations to deliver projects and programs better. We will present cases where change management was incorporated along with project and program delivery, and the resultant benefits. We will also outline a road map on how change management can enable better project performance as well as highlight the areas of the “PMBOK® Guide” (Version 6) which are relevant in the context of change management.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
(1) apply change management effectively for projects and programs to enable their success;
(2) evaluate and apprise various best practices in change management which are applicable in the context of project portfolio management.
