This presentation will provide insight into generational differences among the diverse demographics present in today’s workforce. We will delve into the widely recognized generational groupings of Baby Boomers, Gen-Xers, Millennials, as well as the newly coined micro-generation known as Xennials. We will discuss what makes each generation tick, what motivates and inspires them, and learn how to leverage the unique strengths of each team member—whether alone or as part of a larger, multi-generational team.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
(1) recognize generational differences in attitudes, experiences and education among Baby Boomers, Gen-Xers, Millennials, and Xennials;
(2) explain how to leverage adaptive leadership to motivate members of different generations toward project goals.
