The document and debate culture helps individuals and organizations think well. Good thinking is accomplished through writing, debating, feedback, and revising. Following this process will result in better thoughts, which produce better plans. Better plans create better actions. Better actions deliver better results. This session will review the principles, documents, challenges, and best practices associated with the document and debate culture and how organizations are using writing to deliver better results.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
(1) define the documents, processes, and mechanisms of the document and debate culture to facilitate better thinking;
(2) create the document and debate culture in their organization to improve results and address implementation challenges.
