You can view a session preview HERE.

When a process across multiple silo-supporting groups requires radical redesign to reduce cycle time, techniques beyond one specific methodology are needed to bring agreement across groups. This presentation will walk through a business process redesign effort, explaining how techniques from three disciplines (lean value stream improvement, design thinking, and project management) were integrated into the plan. Each technique will be described with an example, indicating challenges and benefits to the project.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
(1) recognize the value of utilizing multiple methods in solving problems;
(2) explain techniques that support creative problem solving while managing a project.
