Julio Carazo San Jose, MSc, MBA, PMP,  has a master’s degree in telecom engineering and in project management, providing services as a team mentor, trainer, or interim manager specializing in business creation and transformation and project program and portfolio management (PPPM). He serves corporations in diverse countries, and collaborates regularly with the IE Business School's departments of Operations (teaching at executive level) and the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center. He is an international speaker, awarded entrepreneur, and recognized innovator. He is also a PMI Madrid, Spain Chapter past president  and a PMI Leadership Institute Master Class alumni.

Regarding project management, his focus is on organizational and business projects and portfolios. He teaches, mainly at the executive level, at IE Business School (master’s degrees, short courses, legal project Management, and works for corporations mentoring executive teams (Banco Santander, DKV Seguros, Cegelec, Jiménez Maña, Air Nostrum, Vinci Energies Spain, Vinci Energies Portugal, Vinci Energies Corporation, etc.).

Mr. Carazo San Jose has supported more than 50 entrepreneurial teams. As a social entrepreneur, he created Solired Foundation, now renamed Hazloposible Foundation, where he is a board member. Hazloposible Foundation provides corporate social responsibility services to more than a half the Madrid Stock Exchange Index (IBEX35) corporations.

He has provided professional services in various sectors (industrial, banking, insurance, logistics, pharmaceutical, airlines, etc.) to companies such as Hewlett Packard, Credit Suisse, Telefónica, Vinci Energies, Taylor Woodrow, Gefco, Swissrisk, DKV, EADS Airbus, and Banco Santander. He started his professional career as an engineer in Hewlett Packard developing different roles. He has won various awards, including:  Academic Excellence Recognition 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 ; IE Business School Executive Education; Business Sponsorship Award 2001 from Winterthur-Actualidad Económica-AEDME; Quality Award 1997 from Hewlett Packard (as multi-department Improvement project leader); and a Thesis First National Award 1991, C.O.I.T.
